The protection of your personal data is important to us. Summary

  • Google Analytics only with your consent – without consent, no analytics cookies. No advertising cookies, no Facebook pixel.
  • Fonts are loaded from our own server – no connection to Google Fonts.
  • Google reviews are retrieved by our server – your browser does not connect to Google for this.
  • Maps from OpenStreetMap are only loaded after you click.

Hosting & server log files

This website is operated on our own server in the EU. When you access it, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) is processed briefly in order to deliver the website and to ensure the security of the server. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact by phone or email

If you contact us by phone or email – for example to book a table – we process your details in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Cookies & local storage

Without your consent, we do not set any cookies for visitors. We store your choice in the cookie banner in your browser’s local storage (sl-consent) so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit.

Web analytics with Google Analytics

If you give your consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). This tells us which pages are visited and how visitors find us – for example via Google Search. This allows us to improve our website.

For this purpose, Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, storage period up to 2 years) and processes usage data such as pages accessed, time spent, approximate location (derived from the IP address), device and browser. According to Google, IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. The data is deleted in our Analytics account after 14 months. Google signals and advertising features are deactivated.

This may involve a transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future – via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Further information: Google’s privacy policy.

Google reviews

We display public reviews from our Google Business Profile. These are retrieved by our server via the Google Places API and cached. No data about you is transmitted to Google when you visit our website. Only when you click on a link to Google do Google’s privacy provisions apply (policies.google.com/privacy).

Maps (OpenStreetMap)

On the location pages, you can display a map from OpenStreetMap. Only after you click “Load map” is a connection established to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom), and your IP address transmitted in the process. An adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for the United Kingdom. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

For directions, we link to Google Maps. Google’s privacy provisions apply there.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, simply write to us at [email protected]. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
